The Client: Suzette Blackburn, an independent insurance and investment advisor based in Austin, offering clients customizedinvestmentoptions,estateplanning strategies, Investment planning, and tax and retirement planning since 1995.

Relationship Background: Dremana Productions began working with CapStar Financial in 2009 when founder Suzette Blackburn hired our team to build their original website. During the next few years, we created CapStar’s current logo, branding style, various videos and promotional materials.

The Objective: To position Suzette Blackburn as Austin’s premiere financial advisor and expert using traditional and online marketing.

The Campaign: Leveraging our established relationships with Austin’s ABC affiliate, KVUE TV, our team created “Financial Wise,” a 90-second informational segment branded to seamlessly integrate into daily newscasts. During the 6-month duration of the “Financial Wise” news campaign, Dremana Productions pushed out the videos on social media platforms and helped increase quality traffic to capstarfinancial.com.

The Results: During the first month “FinancialWise” aired, CapStar Financial quadroupled their web traffic, resulting in more leads and ultimately more clients. Today, “FinancialWise” can be heard on Talk Radio 1370 a.m. on Saturdays at 1:30 p.m. and Sundays at 8:30 a.m. In August, Suzette Blackburn was invited by the New York Stock Exchange to participate in the Opening Bell Ceremony where she represented CapStar alongside 15 other nationally recognized financial advisors.

The Bottom Line:Prior to teaming with Dremana Productions, Suzette Blackburn was virtually unknown as a local financial expert. Today, Suzette has added teaching workshops to her repertoire, celebrity charity appearances, and continues to build her persona as a thought leader in financial planning through her radio show.
